Ivanka Krayninska was born in 1940. She accomplished her higher education in Academy of Economics, City of Svishtov, with major in Finance, continued with a full-time Doctoral Programme in Moskow Institute of Finance - Russia. Doctor of Economics. She spent an year with a PhD programme in Mathematical Modeling in Economics - University of National and World Economy, Sofia. She has a number of short-term specializations in Hungary (1974 and 1988), Poland (1976), Czech Republic (1986 and 1987), China (1990) and United Kingdom (1999).
Professional Career: Bank Branch Office (1963); Ministry of Finance (1968 - 1978); Bulgarian National Bank (1978 -1984); since 1984 and nowadays - Institute of Economics, Bulgarian Academy of Sciences. Besides, she also is engaged as honor professor in: University of National and World Economy; Open Learning Faculty - Technical University of Sofia; St. Climent Ochridsky University of Sofia; Faculty of Economics, St. St. Cyrill and Methodius University of Veliko Tarnovo. From 1993 till 1996 she was a Head of Macroeconomic Regulation & Economic Systems Management Department, Institute of Economics, Bulgarian Academy of Sciences. From 1995 till 2000 - Head of Finance Department, St. St. Cyrill and Methodius University of Veliko Tarnovo. Since 2001 she is a President & CEO of Epsilon Communications Ltd. Mrs. Krayninska has more than 60 publications (monographs, articles, scientific reports, etc.) in Bulgarian, Russian and English. The most of them are related to the matter of finance, investments and economic reform.
